<p style="text-align: left;"><em style="font-size: 130%;">For several years, I was a member of the Waseca, Minnesota Art Council,</em><em style="font-size: 130%;"> exhibited at their gallery and sold my crafts through their store.&nbsp; I donated my art to an auction to help raise funds for the Waseca Art Council. </em></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><em style="font-size: 130%;">My husband, son and I moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2007, where I became a member of <a href="http://www.nemaa.org">NEMAA</a> (Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association)</em><em style="font-size: 130%;">.&nbsp; Here I have had my paintings shown at the Northrup King Building and the Grain Belt bottling house in Minneapolis.&nbsp; My primary body of work consists of abstract paintings and I mainly work in acrylics and oils with mixed media.&nbsp; I like to use sand, glass beads, paper, broken mirrors and much more in my work.</em><em style="font-size: 130%;">&nbsp; I think my paintings show the curiosity and wonderment that I feel while painting.&nbsp; I also try to bring out the tactile and 3 dimensional aspect to my work so people feel the need to touch the work.</em></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><em style="font-size: 130%;">In my crafts I work with wood, glass and metal.&nbsp; My themes are primarily seasonal (Christmas, Halloween, Easter), but I also like ethnic and historic themes (Asian, Victorian).</em></p>
