For several years, I was a member of the Waseca, Minnesota Art Council, exhibited at their gallery and sold my crafts through their store.  I donated my art to an auction to help raise funds for the Waseca Art Council.

My husband, son and I moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2007, where I became a member of NEMAA (Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association).  Here I have had my paintings shown at the Northrup King Building and the Grain Belt bottling house in Minneapolis.  My primary body of work consists of abstract paintings and I mainly work in acrylics and oils with mixed media.  I like to use sand, glass beads, paper, broken mirrors and much more in my work.  I think my paintings show the curiosity and wonderment that I feel while painting.  I also try to bring out the tactile and 3 dimensional aspect to my work so people feel the need to touch the work.

In my crafts I work with wood, glass and metal.  My themes are primarily seasonal (Christmas, Halloween, Easter), but I also like ethnic and historic themes (Asian, Victorian).

I also make my own jewelry and do embroidery.
